Shane Bull joins NAI Carolantic Realty

Commerical Real Estate Advisor establishing Retail Services Division

Raleigh (June 28, 2011) -- NAI Carolantic Realty is pleased to welcome Shane Bull who has recently joined the firm to become Director of the company’s new Retail Services Division. "We are pleased to have Shane join our team and lend his expertise to establishing our Retail Division. His previous brokerage and business experience will be invaluable to our retail clients," said Steve Stroud, SIOR, Chairman of NAI Carolantic Realty. Mr. Bull is knowledgeable regarding all facets of commercial real estate but has primarily focused on the retail sector specializing in retail tenant representation, shopping center and mixed-use property leasing and sales.

Having over 15 years of business experience and over three years as a commercial real estate broker, Mr. Bull has handled over $5.6 million in commercial lease transaction value and $3.4 million in purchase value. A few of his select clients include RadioShack, Rocky Top Hospitality, Smoothie King, and West Developers.

Heavily involved in the community, Mr. Bull serves as President of the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors (TCAR), the second largest commercial overlay board in North Carolina with 600 members serving a 14-county area. He is also Past President of Tacquire, a company formed to provide an affordable, easy-to-use, dynamic property-centric portal to search commercial property listings, member directory, news, etc. Mr. Bull serves on, or has been a member of the Downtown Raleigh Alliance Retail Committee; the Urban Land Institute Forums Committee, and the International Council of Shopping Centers. He is Past Committee Chair for Swing Fore a Cure Golf Tournament that helped to raise over $100,000 for the American Cancer Society.

Prior to joining NAI Carolantic, Mr. Bull was a broker with Grubb & Ellis|Thomas Linderman Graham and Richards Commercial Properties in Raleigh. Earlier in his career, he was Vice President and Partner for The Mang Group, where he directed the insurance agency’s risk management services and employee benefits division. In addition to his brokerage license, Mr. Bull maintains his license in Property & Casualty as well as Life & Accident, Health & Sickness. He has a BS Business Economics degree from State University of New York at Oneonta.
