Shane Bull Named to Raleigh Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Committee
RALEIGH, NC – June 26, 2008 – Shane Bull, a Triangle commercial real estate advisor and broker, was recently appointed to the Economic Development Committee of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce. The Wake County Economic Development Program of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce is the lead economic development organization in the county, providing support and services for Wake County and its 12 municipalities.
According the the Chamber’s website (www.raleighchamber.org/economic_index.aspx), each year, the committee’s team hosts hundreds of clients evaluating Wake County for possible facility locations and also facilitates dozens of corporate expansions, resulting in new jobs and capital investment for Raleigh and Wake County. The program offers assistance with everything from locating a site or building to post-relocation services.
Bull has been a member of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce for over 10 years and says that his ability to network with peers, as well as to be a part of the local business community, have been invaluable benefits to his membership. In his profession, Bull is familiar with assisting local retailers and restauranteurs in locating to the Raleigh area and says he is pleased to be able to use his knowledge and experience to help the committee with their ongoing efforts.
“Raleigh is a vibrant and diverse area for businesses,” says Bull. “It’s a location that’s constantly evolving and offers something for everyone. I’ve lived in Raleigh since 1997, and I’m proud of our city. I look forward to assisting the Wake County Economic Development Program in providing commercial real estate expertise in hope of recruiting additional businesses to Wake County.”
