Shane Bull Named to Urban Land Institute Trends Forum Committee

RALEIGH, NC – September 12, 2008 – Shane Bull, a Triangle commercial real estate advisor and broker, was recently appointed to the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Trends Forum Committee.  ULI facilitates the open exchange of ideas, information, and experience among local, national, and international industry leaders and policy makers dedicated to creating better places.

As part of the Trends Forum Committee, Bull is responsible for working with a team of ULI members to develop the organization’s “Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2009” program.  All attendees receive Emerging Trends 2009, a trends and forecast publication with a 30-year history and is the most highly-regarded and widely-read forecast report in the real estate industry.  The event will be held on November 13 from 8:00-9:30am at Brier Creek Country Club.

Members say that ULI is a trusted idea place where leaders come to grow professionally and personally through sharing, mentoring, and problem solving. With pride, ULI members commit to the best in land-use policy and practice.  Bull says his membership reinforces his commitment to staying on top of real estate trends – locally, regionally, nationally, and globally.

“The networking at [ULI] events has provided access to leaders in the [real estate] industry, which has helped me connect my clients to quality vendors necessary for my clients to open their business,” says Bull.  “I look forward to continuing to work with ULI staff and committee members to develop, promote, and plan events that are important to ULI members and the commercial real estate community.”

Founded in 1936, ULI has more than 40,000 members worldwide representing the entire spectrum of land use and real estate development disciplines, working in private enterprise and public service.  The mission of the Institute is to provide leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide.  For more information about the organization, visit www.uli.org.
