Shane Bull Named to The Downtown Raleigh Alliance Economic Development Committee
RALEIGH, NC – July 18, 2008 – Shane Bull, a Triangle commercial real estate advisor and broker, was recently appointed to the Economic Development Committee of The Downtown Raleigh Alliance. The Downtown Raleigh Alliance provides Economic Development, Advocacy, Marketing, and Clean and Safe Ambassador Services to ensure a dynamic and vibrant downtown.
According the the Alliance’s website (www.godowntownraleigh.com), economic development is the core of the Downtown Raleigh Alliance’s mission. To fulfill that mission, the Alliance developed a multi-faceted economic development strategy that includes activities such as working with businesses and developers interested in Downtown Raleigh, tracking and benchmarking data on downtown, marketing downtown, compiling a database of available commercial real estate in downtown, producing quarterly economic development reports, establishing key partnerships with city staff and businesses, and holding public meetings for downtown stakeholders.
Bull, a resident of downtown Raleigh since 2005, says that his appointment to the Economic Development Committee reinforces his love of Raleigh and his desire to introduce the city’s richness and diversity to prospective businesses.
“Raleigh is a city undergoing a tremendous rebirth,” explains Bull. “It is a location that has something for everyone. Being a part of the Economic Development Committee and having the opportunity to attract prospective businesses to downtown Raleigh is very exciting.
